Refund policy

1. Our Commitment
At ournora, we take immense pride in the "Handcrafted Elegance" of our textiles. Each piece is curated with care and undergoes a rigorous quality check before being shipped from our studio. However, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

2. Eligibility for Returns
You have 24 hours from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange. To be eligible, the item must meet the following criteria:
Condition: The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it.
Packaging: Item must be in the original packaging with all ournora tags and labels still attached.
Unstitched Materials: For churidar materials and sarees, the fabric must not have been cut, tailored, or altered in any way.
Ornaments: For hygiene reasons, earrings and certain jewelry pieces are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged.

3. Non-Returnable Items
Items purchased during a "Final Sale" or clearance event.
Custom-made or bespoke tailored orders.
Products damaged due to misuse or improper fabric care (e.g., incorrect washing of item).
If a different item required.

4. Damaged or Defective Goods
Since our products are handcrafted, minor variations in weave or color are a mark of authenticity and are not considered defects. However, if you receive a genuinely damaged item:

Include your order number and clear photos of the damage.
We will arrange a complimentary replacement or a full refund.

5. The Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
Approval: We will notify you if your refund is approved.
Method: Approved refunds for Online Payments will be processed back to your original payment method (Credit/Debit Card). Cash payments for online orders are refunded as gift card that you can be used online.
Timeline: Please allow 7 to 10 business days for the amount to reflect in your bank account, depending on your bank's processing time.

6. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged before use. No refund for design change.

7. Return Shipping
Within the India: We can arrange a courier pickup free of cost.
International: Customers are responsible for paying their own shipping costs for returning items.
